Fiery reds dots and magenta shapes congregate on a dark charcoal background devoid of compassion in this painting postcard reproduction. The artwork on the front of the design pictured is an exact representation of the original art. Even though it has been shrunk down to a smaller size with the aid of technology, it features all of the emotional brushstrokes and frenzied dashes as the source.

The reverse side of the card features the title of the painting, but all text on all cards is being phased out as of May 2016.

This painting postcard by Brian Moss is printed on thick 14 point recycled cardstock comprised of 50% consumer waste. It is perfect for postcrossing, and people who the classic combination of red & black.

ARTIST COMMENTARY

When someone you love betrays your trust, it eats at you from within, like a virus. Left unchecked, it will continue to replicate without control. Resentment mutates into acrimony. This in turn has the harmful potential to animosity. In the end, we eventually learn that some things can’t be repaired or sewed back together and are better left apart
