This abstract expressionism art postcard reveals a sea of warm reds, oranges & yellows, intersecting with cooler greens, blues and dark violets around an oddly placed yellow ring tying everything together. Harmonious is how the artist would describe it. Others have used the word tense.

Send this as a traditional postcard or notecard with handwritten correspondence, or keep it for the art on the front. Art cards are perfect for brightening up a small spaces and warming up faces.

This artist card meticulously reproduces the vibrant color and detailed pen strokes that was the original painting, and features a durable smudge-free finish that will hold up if being mailed.

ARTIST PRODUCT RAMBLING

For this particular painting I used a number of "unorthodox" techniques to get the various effects seen by mixing liquid acrylics with other media. Oh, and I should mention that I painted it entirely with toothpicks (I find that stray hairs in the end of brush tend to create unwanted blobs). Enlarge for the full unadulterated view. The convoluted title is a homage to my favorite painter, Salvador Dali.

I would be remiss if I didn’t use any opportunity possible to mention the original painting (and two others) grew legs & walked off mysteriously. It was last seen September 2013 at a festival in NY, where by coincidence, 4 people who have been antagonizing me for years & years were at. Makes you wonder
