ARTIST STATEMENT

While the title of this piece can be perceived as provocative, this isn't a statement about atheism, or religion for that matter. It is not about nihilism, or agnosticism. For me, this is about appreciating all of the beauty around us, without having to assign a higher power as being its creator. It is about recognizing all of the chaos in life, while appreciating the order of nature. It's about accepting that we aren't here long enough to grasp all of the inner workings, but that shouldn't preclude us from enjoying things while we can.
