Petrichor is the name of the scent you smell after rain hits dirt after a dry spell. It is also the blood-like amber fluid that runs in the veins of ancient Greek gods. Within this miniature painting print, if you look closely you will see elements of the two concepts intermingling and juxtaposed against a white sky.

Earth-colored semi-circles drip down and coalesce into solid shapes as the viewer is drawn further into the center. While at first glance it appears very unorganized and abstract in nature, a structure and system of organization does come to the surface after further inspection.
