This postcard print features fuschia, magenta, and hints of purple. It, along with the full series of cards, is printed on superb quality cardstock built to travel the globe. At 5 grams in weight, these feel solid in your hand. A smudge free matte finish protects the artwork from fingerprints or dust.

Each card in the Brian Moss Art family features a 1/8" white border around the perimeter of the front, framing the painting and giving it an exquisite look of detail. The difference between good & great can be as little as 5%, and this white border really makes these pop and gives them a polished aesthetic.

This would be a good spot to mention that this line of stationery is printed on 50% post consumer waste. Read the green commitment

ARTIST NOTES

In typical fashion, this was painted with a variety of inks and dyes and various household chemicals (such as isopropyl rubbing alcohol). I really enjoy working with the constraints of using a monochromatic (or a family of colors in this case), and how that pushes me to explore new techniques and see things in a different light due to limitations I've self imposed.

This was part of my 365 day plan to create one new painting per day, for a full year straight. That series was more about playing with texture & creating color studies—versus creating finished masterpieces—however I like the simplicity of how some of them came out even if they were created in a small window of time.
